High Rise Assignment: 1st Due

At approximately 19:24 hours, Station 28 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm on the 500 block of East City Avenue. Engine 28 arrived to find high levels of carbon monoxide and a moderate smoke condition indicative of an electrical fire. The call was upgraded to a commercial building assignment and personnel from Station 21 (Penn Wynne Fire Company), Station 22 (Belmont Hills Fire Company), and Station 26 (Narberth Fire Company) responded to assist 28 personnel. Firefighters were on scene for approximately 2 hours.
