Community Update: Green Phase

Since the start of COVID-19, the Union Fire Association has responded to more than 150 calls for service. Including but not limited to a commercial building fire, residential building fire, trees into homes, carbon monoxide incidents, natural gas incidents, vehicle accidents, fuel spills, numerous building investigations, and fire alarms all under COVID-19 conditions. As we move into Montgomery County’s Green Phase, we continue to adapt to an ever changing environment. But one thing hasn’t changed – our operational readiness. Our volunteers and career staff remain steadfast in their commitment to our community. Moving forward we continue to monitor guidelines from our local, state, and federal emergency management partners.

The members of the Union Fire Association would like to thank the residents of Merion and Bala Cynwyd for your continued support. We are all in this together; we are your friends, neighbors, family members, and residents just like you. If you are in need of help, do not hesitate to call. We are ready to respond and render aid at a moment’s notice.
