Fire safety DEMONSTRATIONS!!!! Come watch your local heroes strut their stuff & show off their skills! See how the volunteer firefighters help to keep you and your loved ones safe every day!!!

Wish I could be there. My grandfather was a on the Board of Directors and my uncles and dad were firefighters there.

"In 1979, I became a fire fighter at the age of 18. I became a firefighter because my father, brother, uncle, and grandfather were all fire fighters. It was in my blood! I grew up going to the fire house as a kid and being taken to all kinds of fires. When I was little, they used to let me take the equipment from one truck to another. I think mostly to keep me out of trouble, but it got me to learn where and what the equipment was. I became Chief in 1996 after serving as an officer for the previous 14 years. I have had a lot of great people to work with throughout all of the years and I could not have done it without all of their help!"
